The Gallery at Valley Art Workshop is an exhibition space for students, visiting artists, and occasional fundraisers. Artistically, we plan to focus on the human form and portraiture, as well as visual story-telling and world-building through drawing and painting.

Jan. 2026 - Life Drawing Show (Opening Jan 23)

A salon-style group show that represents the range of our life drawing community.

Feb. 2026 - Mammalia (Opening Feb 6)

An open-application group with the theme of Mammals and human-mammal connections/similarities.

Mar. 2026 - Art for Something (Opening Mar 6)

An open-application group show that fundraises for the political advocacy and recruitment org Run for Something.

Apr. 2026 - Miles’ Oak Drawings (Opening April 3)

A collection of Miles Lewis’ ink drawings of oak trees.

May. 2026 - SoCal Juried Portrait Exhibit (Opening May 1)

An exhibition of outstanding portraits by outstanding Southern California portrait artists. The show will be independently juried with prizes awarded.

June 2026 - Miles Exhibit, Public Art Fundraiser (Opening June 5)

A collection of Miles Lewis’ work sold to fundraise for public art projects and continuing non-profit arts education in association with 11:11 Projects.

July 2026 - Nyla, Su, Zoe, and Peter Exhibit (Opening July 3)

A group show of four of our budding student illustrators.

A solo show for one of our graduating seniors.

An open-application group show that features original designs of psychopomps (i.e., Guides to the underworld). Our Halloween show.
